Qian Wang is a composer currently focused on film and video game scoring. She is now based in Miami. Her work spans film scoring, game music, electronic music, and multimedia composition. She has received several awards, including the Bronze Award at the Danny Awards, often referred to as the “Oscars of electronic music festivals,” as well as First Prize in the composition category of the Atlanta International Youth Composition Competition and Third Prize in the IEMC International Electronic Music Competition. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Design and Production from the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music and is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Media Scoring and Production at the Frost School of Music, University of Miami, where she studies with Emmy- and Grammy-winning composer and Academy Award Best Original Score nominee Carlos Rafael Rivera. She has collaborated multiple times with the Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra and continues to work across film, concert, and multimedia projects.
